Stop Chasing External Happiness: It Starts Within đź’ˇ
Let’s keep it real.
We live in a world that teaches us early on that happiness is something you have to chase—something “out there.” The dream job. The perfect body. More money. The nice car. The “perfect” relationship.
And don’t get me wrong, those things are cool. But they’re not the answer.
If happiness could be bought, half the people with money and fame wouldn’t feel so empty inside. I had to learn that the hard way. And truthfully, I’m still learning.
The Two Types of Happiness
In my latest YouTube Live, I broke down the difference between external happiness and internal happiness.
External happiness is based on circumstances. It’s a quick hit. The excitement of good news, getting paid, or having a great day—it’s real, but it fades.
Internal happiness? That’s rooted. That’s when you’re aligned with your values, your calling, and your truth. It’s peace that doesn’t come and go depending on your situation. And nobody can take it from you.
Alignment Is Everything
I used to think, “If I just get to this level—then I’ll finally feel good.” I was wrong.
Because the truth is, if you’re not aligned with who you really are on the inside, nothing on the outside will ever feel like enough. You’ll keep chasing that next hit of happiness like it’s a drug.
But when you’re locked in with your purpose, your faith, and your values? You become dangerous—in the best way.
The highs feel deeper. The lows don’t hit as hard. Why? Because your happiness isn’t depending on everything going right.
Let Go of the Illusion
So if you’re stuck, burnt out, or wondering why you’re still not fulfilled—look inward. Ask yourself:
“Am I chasing something that can never actually satisfy me?”
Start with truth. Not hype. Not fake positivity. Real self-reflection.
Get quiet. Get clear. And if you’re a believer like me, talk to God—not just for blessings, but for alignment and wisdom.
When the inside is solid, the outside becomes a bonus. That’s where the real peace is.
